After the impact garnered by Mr. Brown with support from artists such as Joris Voorn, Carl Cox and Loco Dice it's now time to move on and focus on the label's other half; Baldo with the fourth release from their Spanish label, Neovinyl Recordings. The brilliant debut from Baldo titled 'Counting Sheep' is yet another example of his love of old school sounds and showcases his abilities as a high quality producer.

This sexy producer based in Barcelona, is soaking up all the possibilities the city has to offer every weekend, taking on the concerns and influences to make an EP as accomplished as this. Baldo is counting sheep by sheep in this smart electronic dream, combining his excellent work on the synths with old school percussion.

A tasty mixture that gains the adulation of the crowd wherever it is heard. To put the icing on the cake there are collaborations from Swiss electronic artists Michal Ho and Alessandro Crimi. Michal is well known for his collaborations on labels like Foundsound or Tuning Spork and his releases are always running around the bests hard drives on the international techno scene. For this occasion his remix that gives name to the EP maintains the essence of the original yet adds a fun and dynamic personal touch. Without doubt a great remix.

The second collaboration is from Alessandro Crimi (Sthmlaudio, Polytone, Home Made). Crimi has prepared an exquisite and atmospheric techno remix different and faster to the original version with sounds that will smack listeners on their heads.
