about
Like Bob Marley did on one of his tracks, Mr. Brown is the title of Carlo's new debut on Neovinyl Recordings, the label which he runs together with good friend Baldo. Relating his beats to the Thame's city where he is now based, the Malaga-born artist gives us an EP which is stronger and more dancefloor oriented.
In the release is the track Bank Holidays where you can hear flashes of his melodies interlaced with a dark rhythm section that make the piece unique. With Mr. Brown the beat takes you straight to the dancefloor, low marking and an excellent arrangement of voices accompanied by percussive rhythms throughout the track make it a very remarkable piece.
The third release comes with two luxury remixes. The Foundsound's label owner, Someone Else has been given to us as an awesome ''Rub-A-Dub'' view of Mr. Brown.
Linearity strongly and giving us a cool touch of personality in this excellent remix. Moreover, Aitor Etxebarria better known as El_Txef_A, has opted to surprise us with a more personal and deep house version of Bank Holidays. A delightful truth.
